We had the flautas and they are crisp and delicious. Service was excellent.

We always stop in Springer NM for green chili at Elidas when driving to Albuquerque..If heading home to Colorado, we take some to go.

Came in while driving from Boulder to El Paso. Definitely some of the best road trip food I've ever had. Super fast and affordable as well as being delicious. Would highly recommend.

Best huevos rancheros I ever had and so affordable and so nice, we stopped there while on a road trip, so happy we did!

The food was an excellent taste of New Mexican cuisine. Very special place to the community. The service was also amazing and very friendly and fast. The family atmosphere was the cherry on top of my experience.

Delicious Home cooking. Local small town atmosphere. Not fancy, but definitely clean. (Everyone in the place was friendly ( including the waitress, cook & the locals. Three of us enjoyed breakfast, coffee, eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns, bacon, biscuits & gravy. Yummy! $21.96. Bargain.... by my book. Closed on Mondays. 7 a.m. - 3 PM Tues. - Sat. 7:30 a.m. - 3 PM Sunday. We'll be back on every trip this way.

Impressive classic New Mexico cuisine. Old school flavors and spice. Top notch service. It's a tiny little place done right by good people who care.

Great service, homestyle cookin. My 80 year old dad and I walked out of russels because we couldn't get service from a rude waitress and went to elidas. Wonderful place, we got service FAST. we got the best home cooked breakfast we had in many years. I knew the server had been doing this work for many years being a retired restaurant manager, when I asked her, she said about 20 years, she is also a school teacher. Our coffee cups never got empty. There was 6 people at russels, 13 people at elidas. Russels used to be a regular stop. Not no more.

Nobody goes to Springer, NM, except for a reason, and Elida's is a good reason.This locally owned restaurant has a complete menu of New Mexico fare, as well as burgers and such. The waitress is effiient and very friendly.Opened at 7:00 a.m. unitl 3:00 p.m., it serves a wide variety of menu items, all cooked just right.I picked the red chili with flour toritlla. Actually, the homemade tortillas are sooooo good, that I get the chili as an excuse to eat the tortillas! They were nice enough to let me have another one, hot off the grill, with my chili.The only thing I needed was a couch for a nap!

Amazing food! Elida is the sweetest person! She served us personally, and the food came very quickly. Authentic Mexican food, and again, it was amazing! I got the Chile relleno with ground beef and a chicken enchilada.

Great food and friendly staff. My husband and I both had Mexican entrees that came with beans and rice. Everything was was served fast and hot. Restaurant was very clean. They also serve American food like burgers and sandwiches. Finally, all the prices were very reasonable. Great place to stop for a quick bite.

Love it been going there for years

Relaxed, fun environment food is exceptional.

Delicious stop on our way home to Las Vegas! Way better than a normal fast food stop. We got the smothered burrito with ground beef (Christmas style - red and green sauce) and the double bacon green chili cheese burger. Everything was super tasty and fresh! Well, except the fries which needed more time in the fryer and some salt. Other patrons were real locals. One table of guys were wearing cowboy hats and boots with spurs, looked weather worn, and waved to all the other tables, their friends and neighbors, when they left. Another table held a husband and wife who were enjoying a tasty Sunday lunch. When our food arrived and I took out my phone, the lady leaned into her husband with a confused expression and whispered, "Look, she's taking a picture of her food!"

This tiny restaurant on the side of the highway was the perfect spot for everyone to have breakfast at, while staying in Springer.

Food was fast and good. Service was lovely.

Decent food, a little run down like they need to start to reinvest in their business.
